Kamal Haasan will be playing the role of an Army General in the film. The Viswaroopam story focusses on the factors affecting the functioning of a honest army officer, the internal squabblings and about how anti national forces try to use these opportunities. Kamal ‘s role in Viswaroopam is entirely different from the previous army roles played by Indian heroes and is as realistic as possible. The training sessions have been shot at actual army training locations and Kamal has performed many action sequences himself.
