PEARL MILLET CURD RICE- RECIPE:

PEARL MILLET CURD RICE- RECIPE

Ingredients:

Pearl millet- 2 tumblers; milk and curd- each 1 tumbler; green chilli-4; urid dal- 2 tsp; mustard-1 tsp;  ginger duly skin scrapped; a small piece; asafetida- a pinch;  curry leaves, oil and salt.

Method:

Cut the chilies and the ginger into small pieces. Put the pearl millet in a vessel, spray less water and mix it.   After some time, give 2 blows in a mixi.  Then remove the skin by winnowing.  Then grind it to flour.  Then cook it in a cooker, pour 6 tumblers of water, give 3 whistles In a medium flame. . After removing from the stove, add milk with it and stir. Fry in a pan, by adding mustard, urid dal, green chii and ginger and mix them in the pearl millet. Add required water, salt and curd. This pearl millet rice  is tasty.
