ORU KAL ORU KANNADI FILM REVIEW – OK …

 oru kal oru kannadi review

Two kind of creators in cinema … One set of people wants to do or experiment new things on every film where as other set of creators will only do what they are capable of … Without say director rajesh coming under second category and did justice to that by giving through out comedy entertainer …

Nothing is there to say about story … Saravanan ( Uthayanithi  Stalin ) is working with Sathyam cinemas and roaming like a son of sathyam cinema’s owner along with his friend Partha ( Santhanam ) … One day he met Meera ( Hansikha ) at traffic signal and fell in love at first sight as usual … He never changed his mind even though Meera is a daughter of Deputy commissioner of Police ( Shiaji shinde ) … What else will happen next except couple are joining together in the climax …

Uthayanithi impress the audience slowly and close up scenes reveals that he is new to acting … He needs to watch his dancing even though scores on certain scenes with his casual acting … Hansika is big on the screen but the same cannot be said for her acting … Santhanam is a real hero as he is carrying the entire film on his shoulder with his style of counter dialogues and mannerisms …
Saranya once again proven why she was given national award … The plot between saranya and azhagam perumal is nice … Hariis jayaraj‘s music already leading the chats , particularly ” Venam machan ” is a foot stepping number ….
We can enjoy the entire film even though scenes without santhanam are lagging … Director has dealt with the same story of his previous films … Rajesh can give films like Kathalikka neramillai , Ullatthai alli tha if he makes a comedy film with strong story line instead of just creating comedy scenes and inserting a story … Let us see in his next film …
Score Card : 41
