Surya’s Maatraan production company AGS is likely to sell the domestic rights of Maatraan for a record breaking Rs. 80 Crores. The overseas rights have been sold at Rs. 12 crores. The Maatraan Telugu rights has been sold for 17 crores . Maatraan negotiations for domestic rights has begun and most likely to end at Rs. 80 crores . If Maatraan does 80 crores domestic business, then total Maatraan collection will be close to 100 crores.In fact, Maatraan will become the first movie to inch close to Endhiran, which did a business of Rs. 100 crores.
K V Anand has already become a commercial director who does good business. His two films Ayan and Ko have got great commercial success in quick succession. Maatraan is shot in Russia and with the huge expectations, it will definitely have a record opening box office collection.
