The casting for the Shankar project was done after the director saw the stills of them together in Thaandavam, it is said. So, was it Vikram who recommended Amy to Shankar? The actor just shrugged it off saying, ” I think everyone knows who Shankar sir is and how he is.” Apparently, the character in I demanded a London girl and that’s why Amy was chosen.
