BJP woos Jayalalitha
Prior to the Thuglak annual function, BJP leaders are met Jayalalitha at the Poes Garden-House. On 4th of this month, Jaswanth Singh, one of the BJP leaders visited J’s house. It may be remembered that Jaswnth Singh is a person who can have talk with Jayalalitha cordially. During the Prime Ministership of Vajpayee, Jaswanth Singh formed the alliance of BJP with ADMK. Other leaders like Narendra Modi and Advani met Jayalalitha on 14th January, in her residence, before they participated in the weekly journal Thuklak’s anniversary function. The idea behind this meeting is that they want to strengthen their Alliance with the like minded parties. In the meeting, Modi did not forget to praise Jayalalitha for her best rule in Tamilnadu which resembles that of Gujarat. Advani seconded Jayalalitha’s statement that the centre is adopting a partial attitude towards the Non-congress States.

Cho praised Modi for his excellent governance and said BJP should project Modi as the next Primeminister of India. However, if there is opposition to BJP in the name of communal party, then Jayalalalitha should be the alternative. Cho revealed in his forecasting that Jayalalitha will become the Prime Minister of the country, and that too in front of the prospecting PM candidates, L.K.Advani and Modi in the anniversary meeting.

As Cho went on to praise Jayalalitha , his erstwhile enemy, Rajinikantha sat calmly and listened keenly to the veteran political critic. As Cho blasted Anna Hazare , Rajini who had recently lent his Marriage Hall for Anna Hazare movement was still listeneing to Cho’s words! Earlier he exchanged warm greetings with BJP leaders LK Advani and Nerandra Modi
