The story of 3 monie revolves around 3 stages of love such as love between Dhanush and Shruthi Hasan at school days, college days and after marriage. Immense remorse and touch of love during this stages were screened in this movie. Though Dhanush refused to tell the meaning behind the title, this is the reason behind this title 3 for this Aishvarya debut movie as director.
